From someone who was on the verge of becoming a proper couch potato, Mark has managed to get me back to enjoying exercise again. He pushes you, but not to the extent that you feel like giving up. He is supportive and really listens to what your goals are and provides an effective programme that is flexible to fit in with other commitments. With previous trainers and gym memberships, if something got in the way I would just let it and slowly find my attendance and enthusiasm declining but with Mark, I go out of my way to rebook sessions if I cannot make the session planned. He is enthusiastic, welcoming, friendly and really cares. Coupled with that, his sessions, either individual or group are very good value for money. I would not hesitate in recommending him to all age groups and all ability levels. My health, both physical and mental has markedly improved as a result of sessions with Mark.
Go on give it a go, you won’t regret it.
I approached Mark a couple of years ago after completing chemotherapy looking to build up strength and get fit. It has been the best investment I have ever made. From the beginning, he was patient, approachable, reasonable and encouraging. Over the last two years, I have changed beyond recognition thanks to his hard work and dedication. Having been a regular gym user and then moving into lockdown, Marks’ classes have been brilliant for ht daily motivation, energy-boosting and maintaining my fitness levels. Being able to still have a feeling of normality was important for my own wellbeing which has been achieved with the daily routine that Marks’ classes offer, I would recommend them.
My daughter has 1-1 swimming lessons with Mark. Since he has started teaching Livia her swimming has become so much stronger and she is much more confident in the water. Mark takes the time to explain everything carefully and clearly and he’s very patient with her. I also love how the lessons include Important skills such as life-saving skills, paddling to keep afloat and diving into the water. I see how confident a swimmer my child has become and how much she loves to learn to swim – I definitely recommend him.

Mark is training me to climb Kilimanjaro on the 1st of October. 16 weeks ago I was a 20 a day smoker never been in a gym had only ever climbed the stairs in my house. I quit smoking have climbed the cobbler, Ben Nevis and mark is getting me fit enough to climb Kilimanjaro. I can’t believe how much stronger and fitter I feel. Thanks, Mark.
I’ve been training with Jodie for about 5 weeks now and she absolutely smashes it every session with her workout plans to suit my goals. Not only have I gained confidence within the gym but I have already started to see results that I didn’t think were possible through Jodie’s help, whether it be keeping me on track with eating healthy or keeping me motivated in the gym even when it is so hard I want to give up. Jodie’s professionalism is excellent but keeps it fun at the same time! Can’t thank her enough.

Mark is a very fine personal trainer whose methods are varied and interesting. He finds innovative ways to use exercise to ensure that the client achieves maximum benefit. I always look forward to our training sessions and invariably feel the benefit.
